Happy Halloween!!!!
Happy Halloween!!!
Last night was our night to halloween in my little town, from 6:00 to 8:00. Oh my, kids were everwhere. I actually didn't have that many, but the ones I did have, I didn't even know them. I handed out candy bars to all the gohsts, goblens, princesses, spidermans, and a variety of others. It was fun seeing all the different costumes and the kids.

Just a pinch
Hi
I was searching the web the other day and came across this website, it has great recipes, and is very interesting. While looking at some of the recipes, I found that you could save them. It has its own little recipe file. I thought I would share them with my blog.

I did a little shopping, saw a show, and just had a fun time. I plan to go back at Thanksgiving for a long weekend, and go into NY and see the Rockettes also do some Christmas shopping. I love NY at Christmas. My business is doing great, I have more clients that I really can handle, but I will manage. I am so blessed. God is so good. I have a couple of recipes to share. Hi
Hi Everyone
I am trying to keep my blog updated. I have been gone for awhile, I have been spending some time in NY with my grandsons. There Mom and dad went to Europe, and I came to babysit for them. What a fun time we had. I just love going to NY nice restaurants, shows, Shopping, tours and most of all the people. So many different nationalities and so many different languages. Its so interesting. I will be going home this weekend. I hate that I am going to miss the trees turning into fall. The mountains are beautiful this time of year. Well back to Indiana and back to work. Work does the body good.

Cleaning Tip
I cleaned my oven this week, instead of using all those chemicals, I used vinegar and baking soda just to see if it worked. I have to tell you it worked great. Spray your oven with vinegar and sprinkle baking soda thickly on the bottom, sides, and door of your oven I went back and sprayed vinegar again after I put the baking soda on. I let mine set for about 3 hours but if your oven is really dirty let it set over night. Take a clean cloth and wipe it clean, you will have to wipe it several times to get all the baking soda off. My stove is an old stove but it cleaned up great. Hey give it a try!
Good Morning!
I have had family from out of state, trying to get back to my blogging. I have been working and thinking about retirement. I can retire in March, but of course I will still keep a number of my clients. Work does the body good. I'd like to do some long weekend trips, My favorite place is NYC, love it. But will have to see how everything goes, of course money is always a factor for me. Its been extremely hot in Indiana this summer, but it was a welcome change from all the snow we had in the winter. I just love the 4 seasons of the Indiana weather.
I am so grateful for my family, church, friends, and clients life is good.

Back to work!
I know everyone is back to work after the holiday, it was so much fun to be off for 3 days, but Work must prevail. (Earn thy bread by the sweat of thy brow Gen 3-19). Hummmn!!!!!!!! I guess everyone does not know this verse in the Bible. We all should want to do this. I know! I know! jobs, right now are hard to find, but there are lots of jobs that are available, all you have to do is look for them. Oh Well!
I sure am thankful for all the Lord has given me, and my family. He's such a wonderful loving father. He takes such good care of us. Thank you Lord!

The weather here is Indiana has been beautiful. We have had a lot of rain in the late evening, but plenty of sunshine during the day. I am getting ready for work tomorrow, and can't wait to try out some new cleaning supplies I bought at K-Mart. I thought I would try some of the green products on the market. I will let you know how they work. I love housecleaning, and all my clients. This is the best job ever. I am so thankful and blessed to have such a great family and friends. I thank God everyday for the blessings in my life.

Hummmmn!
I hope everyone enjoys my music. I know it's of an older era, but its great music. Its nice to finally have a weekend off from work. I can finally get some house work done here. Hah Rah. It has rained here for about a week, sunshine during the day and rain at night, Hummmn! I guess you can't ask for anything any better. God has blessed us all. I bought a new sweeper last week, Wow! does it work good. Its light weight, economical, easy to use, easy to clean and it picks up wonderfully. Just thought I would share that with you all. when ever I go to any store or anywhere I always look at the cleaning supplies, or gadgets for cleaning. I know, I know, I am a house cleaning geek. The old saying is, do what you love or love what you do.

Cleaning Tips
Cleaning Tips
- When you dust start at the top and work your way down.
- When cleaning the house, carry your cleaning supplies with you in a pail or apron or even a pocket.
- Keep a basket in each room for clutter. Have the family help clean out the baskets once a week. When unexpected company arrives, just put the basket in the closet.
- For a speedy clean up of toilet bowls, put a small amount of your favorite Mr. clean scents in your toilet bowls each night before going to bed. In the morning each bathroom will smell great.
- Use swifter cloths to quickly clean the dashboards of your car.
- Spend less time on your dishes by filling the sink with hot water and dish soap before you prepare your meal. Add dirty dishes as you use them. By the time you are finished, the dishes can be cleaned up in a snap.
- Keep baby wipes or disinfected wipes handy in the bathrooms and kitchens for easy clean-ups
- Before cleaning the shower, turn on the hot water for a few minutes to loosen dirt and grime.
- If you live in a two story house, keep your old vacuum cleaner for up stairs. this saves time and energy of lugging a vacuum up the stairs.
- This may sound like a luxury, but hiring someone to occasionally do a through cleaning or just those most dreaded jobs can be worth the money. Like windows, refrigerators, ovens, or closets.
Cleaning my house or any house in 3 hours or less
Cleaning a home can be stressful, overwhelming, and exhausting, But with a few tips, you can clean your whole house is a few hours. What I do for my own house, is I take one room and completely clean it. I never spend more than 20 min on a room. I usually start in the bedrooms. I change sheets and make the beds. clean window sills, get cobweds and ceiling fans, Dust, vacuum or sweep and mop. Yes! this can be done in 20 minutes or less. When the bedrooms are done I clean bathrooms., Clean and sanitize tubs and showers, toilet, sinks and mirrors. Don't forget the window sills and cobwebs and ceiling fans. vacuum or sweep and mop. Next ones are living room, Den, and dinning room. Clean window sills, get cobwebs and ceiling fans, dust, vacuum or sweep and mop. next the sun room if u have one which I don't, but many of my clients do. Cobwebs are everywhere in sun rooms, especially if it's an outdoors sun room. I unusually dust first get cobwebs, clean window sills clean ceiling fans, vacuum sweep or mop. Last but not least is the kitchen. Load dishwasher, clean and sanitize counter tops, wipe down refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and dust table and chairs, don't forget to dust the legs of table and chairs. get cobwebs, ceiling fans, window sills, vacuum sweep and mop. I carry a basket from room to room and put anything in it that does not belong in that room , and when I am done cleaning I replace the items where they belong. I never do windows or closets on the same day I do regular house cleaning, it's to overwhelming. I save those tasks for a different day. I usually clean windows and closets twice a year, Spring and Fall. I can clean my house or any normal size house in 3 hours or less.

Hi!
I worked in a factory for 31 years, it closed in 2004 and moved to Mexico. Soooo I was out of a job and had to find something to do for at least 7 more years orrrrrrr whenever. I took a business course at Indiana Business College, and learned how to use the computer and also learned Microsoft office. I decided to start a business doing house cleaning. trust me! House cleaning would not have been my first chose, butttttttttt I had very little money to put into a business, so house cleaning was it. I made business cards, brochures, and got insurance and bonded. Wow! I was off to a good start. ( my sister said she would give me a month and laughed.) Wow! its been six years and I am doing great. What! a great time I am having. I have wonderful clients. I have learned a lot and met tons of people. I even do some public speaking. Life is great.
