I just wanted to say hi to everyone!! 

I can't believe it's the middle of January already. I had a beautiful Christmas

and I hope every one of you had a wonderful Christmas. Of course my New Years

Resolution is to lose weight, and hopefully I can. I decided to go on the calorie diet, trying to 

stay between 1500 and 1600. So far it’s going great. If any of you have any suggestions

 or recipes send them my way. I will keep you informed on my progress.

Lazy Days

Its one of those lazy days, the kind when you just take a drive and enjoy the wonderful

 Summer breeze. It’s the kind of day to sit back and enjoy lemonade on the swing.

 It’s the kind of day when you take a nap in the old recliner. It’s the kind of day to read a good Book. It’s the kind of day to play games with the kids. Don't you just love lazy

 days, what could be better?   Blessings!!!

Good Morning!!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. I am sitting here sipping coffee, and wondering what to do today. I have tons of things I need to be doing, but I think I will just relax, and talk to the Lord and thank him for my many blessings. Sometimes it is just nice to do nothing. Blessings to everyone!!!

Halloween 2011

     It's almost Halloween in our little town in Indiana. I see masks and candy in every store; I know the kids can't wait to go trick or treating. I love this time of year, when the leaves fall and the weather is cooler. It’s the right time to get our patio furniture stored and get our garden and yard ready for winter. WINTER!! Burrrr!! Just thinking about it makes me glad that I am semi-retired and I won't have to get out in it that much. I do love the snow butttttttttttt I hate driving in it. Now I can sit back and enjoy it with a cup of hot chocolate and let it snow as much as it wants... Smiling, just thinking about it...
